sleeve siliconen TT
The Orliman tibial suspension system provides the adjustment necessary for the tibial prostheses to function properly; in being manufactured with silicone, we attain the adherence necessary to the thigh to keep the prosthesis properly adjusted. This, in conjunction with not allowing air to enter through the proximal part of the socket, makes it so that piston movement is avoided, thereby decreasing the friction between the stump and the rigid socket, protecting the stump from possible injury from rubbing.
Suspension system to tibial prosthesis, manufactured with silicone and covered by Lycra textile. Since it is manufactured with silicone, it adheres both to the prosthesis’ rigid socket and to the patient’s thigh, which provides perfect adjustment between the socket and stump, keeping the prosthesis from making piston movement, and also preventing air coming through the socket’s proximal part, keeping the seal necessary for the prosthesis to function correctly. The elasticity of the materials used in manufacture allows for great freedom of movement, including bending the knee.
Characteristics:
Lycra-coated silicone suspension system for tibial prostheses. Being
made of silicone, it adheres to both the hard fitting of the prosthesis
and the patient’s thigh, providing a perfect fit between socket and
stump and avoiding a sliding effect from the prosthesis. It also
prevents the entry of air through the proximal part of the fitting,
managing to maintain the vacuum required for the proper functioning
of the prosthesis. The elasticity of the materials used allows great
freedom of movement, even in knee flexion.
